About PEP

Where care meets community.
The Perth Enrichment Program for Older Adults (PEP), also known as PEP Seniors Therapeutic Centre, was founded in 2014 by a family physician and nurse in response to the growing needs of the Perth community. As a non-profit charitable organization, PEP is dedicated to supporting older adults and those who care for them.
PEP offers a comprehensive program of care and therapy designed to help older adults maintain their health, independence, and ability to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. At the same time, the program provides essential support and respite for caregivers.

As a community-based adult day program, PEP focuses on enhancing and maintaining functional abilities through individualized care plans. Participants benefit from a combination of cognitive and physical therapy, along with opportunities for meaningful social connection in a supportive environment.

The program has two primary goals:
To enhance and maintain each participant’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being through individualized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare providers and family members.
To provide caregivers with respite, encouragement, and education, supporting them in their vital role and helping them feel supported in the day-to-day care of their loved one.
